ABOUT
Established in Amsterdam, BERKE is a private high jewelry house creating a limited number of one-of-a-kind pieces each year.

Founded by Berke Henny, the house is built on a foundation of traditional goldsmithing. After studying at the Goldsmithing School in Schoonhoven and refining her craft under a Royal court jeweller, she continued working on private commissions, developing her own direction alongside her atelier practice.

“BERKE has always existed in some form. Over time, it has slowly grown into what it is today.”

BERKE operates by private appointment only. Each year, a small number of pieces are created, either as singular works or through bespoke commissions, forming an exclusive collection defined by rarity and individuality.

Craft, creativity and human touch remain at the core of BERKE.

BERKE HENNY
I was raised in an unconventional way, living on an antique ship my father restored. Surrounded by water, quiet and nature, this environment shaped the way I see the world today.

From a young age, creativity came naturally. I was drawn to making, to materials, and to the subtle details found in nature.

After completing four years of goldsmithing training, I continued working at my internship with a Royal court jeweller. There, I developed a deeper understanding of craftsmanship and precision.

For me, BERKE stands for wearable art made by human hands. From the first sketch to the final piece, including the custom-made boxes, every element is shaped through a manual process by very skilled artisans.

Creating a piece takes time. Finding the right stones, selecting the right materials, and allowing the design to develop naturally are all part of that process. It can take months before a piece is complete.

Seeing the final result, brought together by skilled hands, remains a special moment every time.
